After relocating to Madison to help care for my aunt I began to feel home sick. Madison Florida is definitely not New Orleans so I struggled for some semblance of the Big Easy. While this hidden gem isn’t New Orleans it gave me life and possesses qualities that I love. This diamond in the rough provides a relaxing atmosphere, Excellent Food, hard to find Wines, entertainment, pina colada cupcakes, coffees, teas, healthy meal options, beautiful trinkets and best of all is the Brunch that includes Mimosas and last but not least the spirit, soul and energy of the Owner, Moruna sets her apart and above all the rest. If you’re a local or just passing through, this is definitely a must do.

Have you ever experienced that moment in life where you just don't know what you're doing or where you're going, then the universe gives you this confirmation that you are right where you are supposed to be.....

well I ended up at this quaint little place today just by chance....going with the flow. Something about this place, maybe its energy, maybe the amazing contagious vibes from the owner......all I know is that it happened.....I got the message loud and clear.

I was at the springs for some engagement

photos and we stopped by this amazing find

on the way out of town. I was transported

back in time during the short time I waited for

my coffee and muffin. This place felt like the

stories my dad would tell me about his

childhood.

I desperately wish we had a coffee shop like

this at home in Havana. Amazing place.

What an interesting cafe. It is set in a cozy

nook populated by antiques, the delightful

food is lovingly prepared and served on

vintage china. The owner/chef/baker/server is

a treasure being a gracious host and

wonderful chef/baker. She is knowledge,

talented, and here warm personality is visible

in every aspect.

Oh, and the food and drink! Superb!

First time here, of many future visits to follow!

Ms Sheppard is the most incredible

hostesses! As soon as you set foot inside, her

loving spirit makes you feel at home. I could

have spent hours enjoying the warm

atmosphere. Very able to cater to specific

requests as well. She made me THE BEST

Oatmilk Latte I've ever had. We were staying

at the Madison RV & Golf Resort and will

definitely be back to Sunrise on every future

trip. We are from Jacksonville and I wish this

place was in my town. Love it!

We gathered with school classmates for a celebration Birthday Luncheon.Food and service were magnificent! The wine list was outstanding. The decor was fun and provided ambience which complimented the meal.

Served a specialty cafe Vienna coffee afterwards for me. Great French onion soup!

I've been going to Sunrise Coffee Shop and The Wine Cellar with my family and some friends over the past couple weeks. We came once, and now we can't go to Madison without visiting! The atmosphere is absolutely enchanting…Everywhere you look there's always something interesting, and every time you visit you'll always notice something new. I have yet to try any of the lunch/dinner food because I'm too shy to order it, but my sibling was obsessed with the salad she ordered. The pastries, however, are amazing! They're all made in-house, and my favorites so far have to be the cheese danish, the chocolate chip muffin, and the chocolate-filled churro.

The coffee is amazing, as well! When it's available, I highly recommend the "Katie B", which has lavender in it and it's so far my favorite coffee I've tried, with the frozen caramel and butterbeer coffees not far behind.

And last, but not least, the owner Moruna is wonderful. She's beautiful and a beautiful person with a soft-spoken voice, and of course she's amazing with her parties and at baking cakes, pastries. She has some very interesting and inspiring stories to tell and she's an extremely gracious host.

If you visit Madison and heck, especially if you live there--PLEASE visit!

This place is as unique as it is wonderful. I've been here a few times and the food is always freshly prepared and delicious; the service is outstanding. It's the perfect place for a light meal, a cup of coffee, glass of wine, or cocktail. If you are traveling through Madison, this place is not to be missed.

We will go back in a heartbeat if we travel on I-10 again!

Fabulous find, a real gathering place of locals of all ages. MS creates the most delicious chicken salad with diced apples, on a fresh, lightly toasted croissant. She is absolutely lovely, and we were able to sit in the shade outside at a wrought iron table with a pretty cloth table cover on a quiet downtown street.

A Must Visit

If you are traveling through or a local do not miss. The food is 5 star, the atmosphere is 5 star, and the mystery dinner theatre is better than the ones in Orlando.
